Bronte is a Tom Dixon
designed restaurant based right by Trafalgar Square, that is perfect spot for a
brunch. Martha and I headed here one Saturday morning as a belated birthday
treat for me. We have a mutual love of the British designer Tom Dixon, so this
surprise was delightful.

First things first,
lets talk about the beautiful interior! There is the infamous pink concrete
bar, which is worth seeing! And we sat in the dining area at the back with the
beautiful pink curved seats with a mirrored cocktail bar in pewter. There are
nods to modernism design as well as an art deco vibe throughout. It works so
well and makes a perfect place for a brunch with your bestie.
The menu is
British/Asian, which is something I’ve never experienced before for a brunch
spot. Which actually means that I must go back to try some of the Asian dishes as
with our first visit here we went for a classic brunch dish. We both got our
favourite, Avocado on toast with poached egg. With this dish they add plum
tomato’s, baby spinach and yuzu hollandaise that was delicious. We also shared
a side of fries that came with sriracha aioli! Even the British dishes have a nod Asian cuisine with yuzu
hollandaise and sriacha aioli as a perfect example of this. No brunch is
complete without a cocktail in my eyes so I opted for the ‘Green With Evvy’,
which was Stolichnaya vodka mixed with kiwi purée & St. Germain elderflower
liqueur, served in a coupette glass. It was super refreshing and accompanied my
food like a dream.
I would recommend
booking which you can do online here and do let me know your thoughts if you
try it out!
