Day 11 - My New Years Resolutions | 12 Days of Christmas

Wow, what a year 2016 was - I honestly had a blast. I can't thank our readers enough for the support you give us. We've had some amazing opportunities in 2016 and can't wait to see what 2017 has in store.

I love setting resolutions, just so I can reflect on them to check in. I've seen that, like most people, my resolutions for this year are about 'self love', I want to be the healthiest and happiest I have ever been. I started the year in a job that I wasn't 100% happy in and ended it in a job I love. Jake still loves me (thankfully - haha!). I have the most wonderful group of friends around me and I'm enjoying making content on both the blog and my Youtube channel. Here is a bullet point list of my resolutions broken down.

    • Tone up & Be Healthy:  Grr - I say this every year (who doesn't?) but to feel healthier and happier I know I need to do this. I have had a 3 day detox to start the month - really just to get back to a regular portion size and christmas I really overindulged and for the rest of January I am doing 'dry-January' and going dairy free (I have an intolerance).
    • Keep Traveling: Last year as you would have seen on the blog, I was lucky enough to travel a lot. I totalled 7 holidays, and saw places I hadn't been to before. This year, I want to keep that travel bug going and explore more places. Even places in the UK and make the most of what is on my doorstep.
    • Be Structured: Since starting my new job I lost my week structure quite a lot - which bothers me, since I am such an organised person. I want to get back to having my regular days of posting on the blog and uploading a weekly video onto my YouTube Channel! I also need to get the gym back into my weekly routine.
    • Social Media: This is a strange one, but I want to connect more on social media. I am really rubbish at regularly updating on there and I also want to get more involved in twitter chats and commenting on others posts, videos and content. I think the industry is all about support from your peers/readers/viewers it is important to support one another.
So there we have it 4 (achievable - I think...) New Years Resolutions for 2017. I am so excited for this year and to see what is in store.

    What are yours?

    Lots of Love,
    N x
