    Cafe Mish | Review

We love to review all sorts of foodie spots, so when we got invited to review Café Mish – a new gourmet sandwich spot we were both really looking forward to it.

Inside Café Mish, there are only about 6 seats so this is definitely a place to come and grab a sandwich to eat at your desk; when you feel like something more than your typical egg and cress sandwich from the supermarket. The eatery is small but cute and worth taking the time to visit. Café Mish is based on Shepherd Street in Mayfair – so a great location and their menu is full of delicious lunch time options.

I opted for the Roast Chicken: free range corn fed chicken with avocado, Romaine lettuce and tarragon mayonnaise and Martha had Halloumi: with Camone and Marina tomatoes, homemade basil pesto on toasted focaccia. They were jam packed and definitely deserved the gourmet title. We also opted to try a couple of their sides and had the batata harra wedges which were served in coriander, garlic and chili and also the mish chips: sweet potato and rustic cut chips with spiced salt. They were both delicious and would highly recommend getting a side with your sandwich if you are feeling like a big lunch – like we did! In the week they also serve their roast meats; turkey, lamb and Angus.

The prices match the area they are located in, so slightly on the high end but I would say it is worth it for the weekly Friday lunchtime treat.

Where: 1A Shepherd Street, Mayfair, London, W1J 7HJ

    Opening Hours: Monday - Friday. 7:00am - 9:00pm    Saturday 8:00am - 6:00pm

Have you tried Café Mish? What sandwich did you go for? What is your favourite Sandwich?

    Lots of Love,
