Blogger Tea Party | Bloggers Hangout

Martha and I got to attend another one of the awesome Blogger Hangout events. This time is was the 'Bloggers Tea Party' hosted at the Pop up patio cafe in Moorgate - which you should really check out because it's going to be such a good place to head to this summer as it is in the middle of a park and they serve great coffee!

As Martha and I are both self-professed snack queens we were super excited to go along and be introduced to some wonderful new healthy food and drink brands and we were definitely not disappointed. The cafe was full of some wonderful people with samples on hand to try. So I am super excited to share with you some of these goodies.

First things first let’s talk about Snact; a Vegan, Gluten Free and 100% real fruit healthy snack. They currently sell Apple & Mango fruit jerky or Apple, Blueberry & Banana or Apple and Raspberry. They use surplus fruit – which is essentially fruit that is not good enough to be sold but too good to be thrown away so the team over at Snact(Ilana and Michael) found a sustainable way of using this fruit. They taste so good and a perfect snack for an afternoon pick me up and with less than 65kcals per bag you can’t really go wrong.

Up next is Chika’s; A taste of the Exotic. These are high protein, gluten free and vegan snacks within their range they had the following for us to try, hand toasted peanuts, plantain crisps, black pepper cashews, smoked almonds and chili plantain crisps. Head over to their website to see their full range of snacks! This is such a great product range that aims to achieve with each bite you are taken back to exotic Africa. They taste so great, my favourite was the chili plantain crisps and the hand toasted peanuts. The peanuts were very different to the usual salted peanuts you get in a bar when sipping on your glass of wine, the toasting process creates a much creamier flavor which means you don’t need the salt!

Now for all you chocoholics out there, I introduce The Cocoa Den. This wonderful company was founded by Kate Burton who we met at the event and she was so kind and passionate about her products. And too right because they were so good. We got to sample the chocolate truffles and I opted for the praline truffle and it just melted in my mouth. She makes each chocolate shape by using a mold and creates the most wonderful things perfect for wedding table centre pieces, if you can think of something fun that she can create next be sure to tweet Kate.

Now, Just Bee a bottle of spring water infused with a drop of water! We spoke to the lovely Joe who is a third generation bee keeper and he told us all about this amazing drink. It is under 50 calories and full of natural antioxidant. They have three flavors; Blueberry or apple and Ginger or Lemon and Green Tea. I absolutely loved the Blueberry flavor! They are currently going under a re brand and so is their website but be sure to head over to their twitter and give them a follow.

Last but by no means least; Pic's Peanut Butter. This New Zealand product is to die for; it is a pot of goodness. They have a range of peanut butters from salt, no salt, smooth and crunchy as well as peanut oil, almond butter and cashew butter. You can find them at Duke of York Square Market in Chelsea on a Saturday and Maltby Street Market in Bermondsey on a Sunday.

So there you have it, a round up on our favourite products from the Bloggers Tea party. We hope you enjoyed it and do let me know if you have tried any of the products listed!

    Lots of love,
