    Blogmas | Christmas Eve

So here we are, Christmas Eve is finally upon us and 2016 is looming. This is the last day of our first ever Blogmas, something we have truly loved and hope you have too. A small ask, but we know you want to really... follow us on Bloglovin - our link is... https://www.bloglovin.com/blogs/split-city-13957309 . You will be able to keep up to date with our latest posts and help us reach our target on there!

Now onto my Christmas Eve traditions and a funny little announcement.

Christmas Eve is almost always spent together with my amazing little family, mum, dad and sister! I love the day before christmas almost as much as Christmas day. I love getting everything ready for the big day. Last minute food shopping and collecting the turkey from our local butcher. Finish with the last few gifts that need to be wrapped and cards that need to be written. We aim to get everything finished by early afternoon so we can put on Christmas movies, sit together and relax as a family. I love playing board games, well really, any game. So I'm sure to have some prepared to play on both Christmas eve and Christmas Day. We still always make sure to get an early night so all the excitement of Christmas day doesn't take its toll and before we head to bed my sister and I choose our Christmas day outfits.

This year, has been full of ups and downs and I have truly given myself a Nikki style send off to 2015. Prepare yourself for my funny announcement. I didn't mention this on twitter as I was waiting to share it in a post. Last Friday I took a trip (literally) to A and E and I have unfortunately broken my wrist. Since Friday I had a back slab cast on my wrist and now a slightly different plan on Christmas eve morning I headed to the fracture clinic. See below a funny photo of my new cast which I have to wear for X amount of weeks. An unfortunate accident to happen any time of year but annoyingly has happened in time for Christmas. One handed present opening it is.

Yesterday, Martha's post was a round up of her 2015. I will be giving you my 2015 round up before we see the new year in. Myself and Martha would really like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for joining us on our blogging journey and our first ever Blogmas, it certainly won't be our last.

    Have you enjoyed our Blogmas?

Lots of love and a very Merry Christmas,
    N x
