    Pedler | Peckham Rye

Pedler is one of those little spots I've had on my 'To Go To' list for ages and ages. Fueled with foodie love from my Saturday baking with Nikki, I picked the Sunday as the ideal day to tick this off.

As a strict vegetarian, Sunday Roasts mean absolutely nothing to me. However, Pedler offers a proper Sunday menu - WITH A VEGGIE OPTION - that actually looked really appealing. Still though, I went for their small plates.
We had their truffled shrooms on toast with a poached hens egg, and also courgette, scrambled eggs and gremolata on toast too. Both were small in size, but tasty enough that you didn't mind. After all - they are technically small plates - and so I'd advise ordering a couple to keep yourself satisfied.
The pud was the real prize winner - I don't trust anyone who doesn't love a good crumble.
It was divine, and the whole place had that 'homely' feel, from the food to the cutlery.

I'm definitely aiming to go back for their dinners, as everything on the menu looked great.
What really bowled my over was the friendliness and warmth of the staff. Our waitress was attentive and funny, but not too present or pushy.
A great little quirky abode, and I can't wait to get back to it!

Give me more places to visit in Peckham....you know I'm a sucker for a good cocktail? ...M x
