    The Diner

You may have noticed that both Nikki and I tend to lean to more independent places, rather than chains, when it comes to food and drink. It hard not to do this when you live in London; there's such a magnificent amount of hidden gems in this city, that finding one always feels like an achievement. But I'm breaking tradition in this post, an ode to The Diner.

The Diner has yet to branch out of London, but you'd be a fool not to head to them in Shoreditch, Islington, Dalston, Camden...the list goes on.
I've only been to the Shoreditch, Covent Garden, Gloucester Road and Carnaby Street locations but at each and everyone I've had wonderful food, and service with a smile.
What makes it such a great place to nosh is that all the staff seem to really love their job - so you know it's a good place - and they don't push too hard to evoke that NYC diner vibe. Their natural service, good food, and tongue-in-cheek offerings naturally create that atmosphere.
From breakfast (OH. MY. GOD. THEIR PANCAKES) to their awesome dinners, which are surprisingly veggie friendly, they deliver on every level.
When you're after a definite, a sure-fire good meal, The Diner is THE ONE.

Do you agree? And has anyone eaten at all the locations yet? ...M x
