Hope you are doing great and enjoyed the bank holiday weekend. Yesterday I attended StreetFest after being invited to go along to blog about the day. It was their 8th year of running the Urban Culture Festival. It was such a great day and it was so nice to see a community come together and support each others talents.
The location was perfect for this type of event, it was held at Tobacco Docks in East London. The sun was shining which was perfect for all stalls that set up outside. As soon as we arrived we headed to the Dance Stage to catch the 'B Girl battles' this was so much fun to watch. I enjoy watching dancers whatever style - the bar was raised so high - I felt like I was watching a version of Step Up (the movie).
There was so much talent about I was super envious. I also loved walking around and seeing all of the amazing artwork. Here are some photos by the wonderful graffiti and street artists:

Adidas sponsored the event and so after some tasty food we headed to the Adidas stage to watch some live music, my favourite artist we saw was the very talented Loyle Carner perform on this stage before we headed back home. It was such a fun day out and I really recommend you to go next year. It is perfect for all age ranges, there was face painting, a pop up nail bar, pop up fashion stalls plus dance and music stages.
Hopefully see you next year at StreetFest 2016.
Have you ever tried Jerk Chicken? Have you ever tried Churros? Will you be heading to StreetFest 2016?
Lots of Love,
N x
