    SpaLondon, Kensington

This week SpaLondon were kind enough to invite us to experience their newest branch in Kensington. Now, as our West London is currently soaking up the sun in Bermuda, I (Martha) flew solo.
It was a wonderful day of relaxation and pampering, and I definitely recommend SpaLondon to all: their unpretentious and friendly, ensuring you leave feeling totally zen.

I was really looked after from start to finish! Me and the other girlies (Beauty Queen UK, Copper Garden, One Little Vice, House of Blog and Beauty With Charm) were welcomed with a great spread of treats, as well as orange juice and champagne!

Our hosts for the day talked us through the SpaLondon brand a little more. It's evident their passion is bringing pampering to the masses; their Spa's are affordable (both the products and the treatments) and purposely located in local leisure centres, making them accessible and welcoming.
Before attending I'd been offered the choice between two treatments: the Murad facial or the Midas Touch Gold Treatment. I opted for the latter as it's a signature SpaLondon treatment, and it has the word gold in it. I'm like a moth to anything that shines.
The Midas Touch - Gold Treatment is a full body exfoliation that want to leave the body hydrated and glowing. It lives up to expectation! I was so relaxed I may've taken a quick little snooze midway through.
Your body is first covered with a gold elixir, then the golden body scrub, and after a shower and a Thai compress massage, the finishing golden honey. The entire ritual usually lasts an hour and a half. I was particularly impressed with the golden body scrub, as these occasionally have a tendency to bit a little too rough, but this one never felt uncomfortable.
We also had the chance to spend time in the Spa's hot tub, sauna and steam room. All of which weren't overly sizeable; perfect for a day like ours, as it allowed us room to chill out and gave such a laid-back impression.
I also walked away from the day with a delightful bag of goodies, that I'll be sure to keep you updated about!

Can't say thank you enough to SpaLondon for the most relaxing day I have had in a very long time!
