    Fun Friday's

It was time for my sister to join the celebrations. After checking into the Doubletree by Hilton in Hyde Park we jumped in a car to Charlotte Street to try out the highly recommend Obicà restaurant.

If you like Italian food this place is a must. They have a couple of restaurants across London so there's no excuse(if your London based). The service was great, every member of staff was friendly and smiling which is so important for my dining experience. For starters we went for he grand sharing platter, with a selection of meats, mozzarella and Burrata. It was delicious and enough to have between four of us. Then onto mains I went for Penne Pasta with spicy salami and Burrata(again!!) it was delicious, my mum and sister both went for the mushroom and ricotta ravioli and my dad went for the sea bass served with lentils and roasted vegetables. We had no room for dessert!! I really liked Obicà even though it is a chain it really felt personal and like they care about each customer which sometimes can be lost in chain restaurants. If your haven't been,  I would highly recommend a visit.

A few doors down there is this fantastic concept of a wine shop/wine bar! They are called Vagabond, the idea is you try samples of wines (20ml) and if you like you can buy a glass (125ml) or the bottle. When you arrive you put money onto a card which you the slot into the machine which dispenses different wines. Above each wine is a thorough description to help you choose! They also have another Vagabond a little closer to my apartment so definitely a cool hangout with friends and good to keep track of how much your spending in there.

Afterward we jumped in an UBER and headed to the Cambridge Theatre to watch Matilda! Wow, it reached my expectation and beyond.  The special effects were amazing were in point and so clever how it was done. When I go to the theatre I try my best not to analysis too much and I find it easier when watching musicals! It is one of those musicals you can take any age and everyone enjoys it.  I really enjoyed the whole experience and it was a perfect way to end the day. Matilda is booking until 29th May 2016 so there is still plenty of time to go and see it.

What's your favourite musicals to see? Have you tried Obicà?

    Lots of love,
    N x
